Upload the contract
- Select Add contract from the product navigation.
- Upload a PDF, DOCX, or DOC file.
- Select Read this contract.
- Wait while Liyara reads the contract and its exhibits.
Review the contract readings
Liyara separates clear commitments from language that needs your judgment. Each reading includes the source quote, section, target, and confidence.
Check the contract language before you approve a target. Do not approve an industry benchmark as a contract requirement.

Handle qualified language
Words such as endeavor, reasonable efforts, and may can weaken a commitment. Liyara should not convert this language into a hard target.
A clause can contain both a qualified target and a firm reporting duty. Monitor only the firm part when the contract supports it.
Activate monitoring
- Resolve every contract reading with Confirm, Edit details, or Skip.
- Select Activate monitoring.
- Add the first vendor report from the contract page.
Cancel an unfinished upload
Select Cancel upload before you activate monitoring. Confirm the cancellation when Liyara asks.
Liyara removes the unfinished contract and its related contract readings. This action does not affect another contract.
